Cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary: security, session and load-balancing, plus one cookie that records your cookie choice. Always on; these do not require consent.
  • Preferences: remember settings like theme. Optional.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_B5R8Z592FS), set only if you click Accept. They expire after 13 months and are deleted if you later decline.

Measurement without cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode. Until you accept analytics cookies, including if you decline or ignore the banner, Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode: it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. For each page viewed it sends Google an anonymous signal that the page was viewed and that analytics consent was not given. That signal carries no persistent identifier and cannot be linked to your other visits. Google uses these signals to estimate overall visitor numbers.

Like any web request, these signals reach Google with technical details such as your IP address and browser type. Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features are permanently switched off on this website.

We carry out this cookieless measurement on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how our website is used. You can object at any time by blocking Google Analytics in your browser, for example with Google's opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Vercel Web Analytics

Our hosting provider's analytics, Vercel Web Analytics, sets no cookies and loads only if you click Accept.

Managing your choice

You can change your choice at any time using Cookie choices in the footer of every page. Declining deletes any analytics cookies already set. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly-necessary cookies may stop parts of the Service from working.
